Craig Disley is urging his Grimsby pals not to lose their cool in today’s derby clash with bitter rivals Scunthorpe.
The Skrill Premier Mariners face League Two Iron having not won local bragging rights since 1998.
And midfielder Disley, 32, said: “The rivalry is massive and bitter.
“It’s going to be feistily fought and when the crowd are up for it, it gets the blood rushing and the adrenalin pumping.
“It’s going to be special – ice on the mind, fire on the belly sort of thing.
“There are Grimsby fans who work with Scunthorpe fans and we can give them the bragging rights until the next game.”
