Shaun Batt is desperate to put three years of injury hell behind him after signing for Leyton Orient.
The striker signed for the O’s this summer, ending a sicknote spell with Millwall that saw him make just 25 appearances in three seasons.
He spent time on loan at Brisbane Road last season and decided to drop into League One.
Batt, 26, admitted: “It was frustrating at Millwall.
“It wasn’t an easy decision but I had to leave.
“I needed to drop down and get my career back on track.”
Orient entertain Shrewsbury today and Batt added: “We can compete in this division.”
